How to Post

Directions for posting on the class blog when it is your turn.

Step #1: In class you will be assigned as the blog author at some point in the school year. Check your student email for the invitation to become an "author" on the class blog from me.

Step #2: Follow the activation steps in the invitation email to become an author and get access to editing privileges on the blog. If you have trouble with this see me and I can help you get access.

Step #3: At the top of the class blog you will sea a Link "BLOG TOPICS". Open this up and scroll down to find the essential concepts you will be explaining in your post.

Step #4: Create a "New Post" and Change the "Post Title" at the top to your ASSIGNED TOPIC (ex. Moon Phases), followed by your FIRST NAME and LAST INITIAL.

Step #5: Using your class materials, notes, homework, and internet resources explain in excellent detail in paragraph form each of the concepts in your topic. You should include pictures and diagrams where appropriate. Your blog post must be clear, well-written, detailed, with proper spelling and grammar in order to receive full credit. It must answer each of the concept questions asked of you for your post.

Step #6 As you are writing your post you can hit "SAVE" to save but not PUBLISH your work if you are not done yet. Your post must be "PUBLISHED" by hitting the orange PUBLISH button prior to the day it is due so that all of the science classes can read your post.

Step #7 After you are done you will receive a grading rubric from me a few days after your due date with your grade.

Remember: If you have any questions be sure to ask me!
